Altstadt is a bierhalle and brathaus located in Pioneer Square, Seattle.

We specialize in northwest-inspired German and Sudetenland fare alongside unique beers and liquors served in a warm atmosphere.

Our large, rustic halle is perfect for an intimate group of ten, or a party of up to 200. The large wooden tables and open spaces make Altstadt a comfortable environment for lunches, dinners, and casual social gatherings. The halle opens up through four tall doors to a bar stool seating deck looking out over the hustle and bustle of first ave. and old Pioneer Square.
